GENERAL BILL by Home Defense, Public Security, and Ports ; Transportation ; Sebesta ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn
Motor Vehicles; redefines term "off-highway vehicle" to include two-rider ATV; defines term "traffic signal preemption system"; authorizes transfer of traffic regulatory authority by interlocal agreement from a municipality to a county; provides that owner of leased vehicle is not responsible for parking ticket violation in certain circumstances; provides that U.S. passport is acceptable proof of identity for purposes of obtaining driver's license, etc. Amends FS.
Effective Date: 10/01/2004 except as otherwise provided
