HB 1315: Civil Justice Reform

GENERAL BILL by Brown

Civil Justice Reform; provides for dismissal of actions based on fraudulent or deceptive activity; repeals dangerous instrumentality doctrine; limits insurer liability for failure to pay policy limits under certain circumstances; limits liability of law enforcement officers or sheriffs & employing law enforcement agencies for civil damages for injury or death from pursuing fleeing persons under certain circumstances, etc. Amends Chs. 46, 324, 624, 768.
