GENERAL BILL by Transportation Committee ; Evers ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Hasner ; Hukill ; Slosberg

Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles; requires that motor carrier maintain certain tax records for specified period; provides limitation on liability in off-highway vehicle recreation; deletes exception to prohibition against persons riding on exterior of passenger vehicle; authorizes use of additional documentation for purposes of proving nonimmigrant classification when person applies for identification card, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 10/01/2006 except as otherwise provided
