SB 248: Juvenile Sentencing [LPCC]
GENERAL BILL by Wilson
Juvenile Sentencing [LPCC]; Authorizes the court to sentence a juvenile using juvenile sanctions, adult sanctions, or a blend of both sanctions. Requires the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to file a written report with the sentencing court if the DJJ believes the child's sanction is inappropriate. Authorizes the court to place the child on probation. Requires the DJJ to notify the court no later than 30 days before it discharges a child from a sanction, etc.
