GENERAL BILL by Transportation ; Brandes

Fees/Electric Vehicles; Creating additional fees for electric vehicles; creating a license tax and an additional fee for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles; authorizing persons and entities to biennially renew vehicle registrations for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles; providing that certain vehicles are exempt from specified fees, etc.

Effective Date: July 1, 2021, but only if SB 138 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law
