GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Regulated Industries

Telecommunications Services; extends time for establishment of permanent universal service mechanism; specifies that specified provisions do not apply to provision of pay telephone service on public or municipal roads or rights-of-way; prescribes duties of DOE re distance learning; repeals provision of SB 2502, enacted in 1999 Regular Session of Legislature, re performance measures for Florida Public Service Commission, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $1,375,100.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
