GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Klein

Electronic Commerce; creates "Uniform Electronic Transaction Act"; provides for legal recognition of electronic records, signatures, & contracts; provides for admissibility of electronic records as evidence; provides legislative findings & creates State Technology Office within DMS; directs said office to create Task Force on Privacy & Technology; requires Enterprise Florida, Inc., to create & implement marketing & image campaign, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $700,000.
