CS/SB 2064: Water Supply Policy
GENERAL BILL by Comprehensive Planning, Local and Military Affairs ; Crist
Water Supply Policy; requires that each local government provide in its growth management plan for long-term availability of water supplies for approved land development; directs local government comprehensive plans to coordinate with regional water supply plans; provides that incompatibility with regional supply plan must be considered in determining if proposed use of water is consistent with public interest, etc. Amends Chs. 163, 373.
