CS/CS/CS/SB 560: Medical Malpractice
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Judiciary ; Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care ; Banking and Insurance ; Saunders ; Peaden
Medical Malpractice; (THIS BILL COMBINES CS/CS/S560,CS/2080) authorizes health care providers to form commercial self-insurance fund; provides that insurer may not require arbitration of rate filing for medical malpractice; authorizes purchase of insurance by certain health care providers; requires Insurance Regulation Office to require health care providers to annually publish certain rate comparison information, etc. Amends FS.
