GENERAL BILL by Domestic Security Committee ; Adams ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Arza ; Harrell ; Hasner ; Porth ; Reagan ; Slosberg ; Sobel ; Waters

Emergency Management; provides legislative findings re need for improvements in state's infrastructure in response to hurricane seasons of 2004 & 2005; provides criteria for appropriation to fund construction or renovation of county emergency operations centers & designates alternate state emergency operations centers; provides criteria for appropriation for retrofitting public hurricane evacuation shelters, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $151,776,150.

Effective Date: 06/01/2006 except as otherwise provided
