Department of Business and Professional Regulation [EPCC]; (THIS BILL COMBINES S2086 & S2498) Requires that hazard insurance be based upon the replacement cost of the property to be insured as determined by an independent insurance appraisal or update of a prior appraisal. Provides for coverage by developer-controlled associations. Changes the name of the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums, and Mobile Homes to the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, etc.
Effective Date: 07/01/2008 except as otherwise provided
