GENERAL BILL by Transportation Committee ; Evers ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler

Highway Safety; directs dept. to issue driver's license restricted for business purposes only under certain circumstances re failure to pay child support; requires appropriate signal when overtaking & passing vehicle; grants local jurisdictions authority to enact ordinances governing use of golf carts which are more restrictive than state law; removes requirements for Class D driver's license; revises provisions re safety belt usage, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 07/01/2005 except as otherwise provided
