CS/CS/HB 1589: Elections
GENERAL BILL by Brown
Elections; revises duties of Secretary of State & Dept. of State re election laws; revises oath taken by person registering to vote; revises voter registration procedure by HSMV; deletes provisions re second primary; establishes statewide voter registration system; provides for contribution limits to statewide candidates; makes it third-degree felony to participate in certain exchanges associated with voting by absentee ballot, etc. Amends FS.
Effective Date: 01/01/2006 except as otherwise provided
